Cnet reviewed the KLV-23M1and they had this to say, "The
Sony KLV-23M1 is a 23-inch, flat television. Compared to
other flat TVs on the market, it is relatively inexpensive
at around $1,220. This flat-TV has an LCD display, which
is generally the best kind of flat-panel screen for viewing
in brightly-lit rooms. "
A consumer at amazon wrote a review
on this Sony WEGA HDTV, he states, "I was looking for a smaller LCD TV for
the bedroom, and in two years of looking none really impressed
me. Although there were several HDTV sets that were either
larger or cheaper, I went with the Sony KLV-23M1 for its
excellent picture/sound quality and nice design.
The resolution on this model is
1366x768, a true 16:9 ratio unlike the crop of 1280x768 sets
out there. The picture is vivid and crisp, with above-average
grays and blacks and bright whites. Do yourself a favor and
pick up a home theater calibration disc to get the most out
of your purchase, Digital Video Essentials and the Avia Calibration
DVDs are the best out there."
Over at epinions another consumer wrote a review
on the Sony WEGA KLV-23M1 HDTV-Ready LCD TV, he writes
"I bought this tv at Circuit City for $1599 in Febuary 2005.
I already had a pretty new Panasonic 27" standard
CRT set which was nice, it was simply to big and bulky for
my room. I always wanted to get a flat panel LCD HDTV with
widescreen for years but they were always way too expensive."
Another consumer from epinions writes "This product replaced
a previous old style TV and is working very well. The picture
quality is excellent and the color resolution is fantastic.
The sound quality is also excellent, even when the surround
sound is not engaged. "
Overall this liquid crystal display television gets a
5 out of 5 stars according to happy consumers. Read our specifications
on the Sony
klv-23m1.
