did a lot of research ( 8 months worth) before choosing
the sony over mitsubishi, samsung, hitachi, and toshiba.
I went with this one for a couple reasons. First of all,
DLP vs. LCD. Do you like coke or pepsi, miller or bud??
They both have a great picture so it is really up to your
own preference. I chose LCD because, 1, I have a bright
room and the LCD looks better in a bright room, 2, to me
less moving parts means less chance of breaking and 3,
the SD picture seems to be pretty poor on DLPs. The DLP
does have much better black levels and a softer edge, but
the other factors were more important to me.
