HDTV is high resolution digital television (DTV) combined
with dolby digital surround sound. The definition for high
definition television is: a TV system that provides crystal
clear digital wide-screen images with CD dolby
surround sound. The aspect ratio of HDTV pictures is 16:9
as opposed to today’s
4:3 format.
When you hear the phrase “HDTV”, what that really
means is that the television image is presented in a high
definition format. High definition refers to the type of
tv signal that is broadcast into your tv set. Unlike traditional
tv signals, those that are HD in nature will produce a high
quality, sharp, well defined image. When you view a program
on high def, you can bet that you will be amazed at
the lifelike quality you will witness in each and every frame!
There are many manufacturers that produce and high definition
flat screen TVs, including: Samsung,
Hitachi, Daewoo, Panasonic,
Sharp, Sony,
Phillips, RCA and Pioneer,
to begin with. Each manufacturer offers multiple models and
sizes of their HD TVs.
Each manufacturer offers many key features that make your
tv viewing experience the best possible!
There are many sizes of high definition digital systems,
including: 13”,
15”, 20”, 26”, 32”, 42”, 50”,
60”, 63” and even an 84” model! There are
a ton of awesome features that can be found on an HD made
tv, including: Picture In Picture-lets you view two programs
at once, digital comb filter-creates clearer images than
standard signals, anti-glare protective screen-stops the
annoying light glare on the screen, multi language menu-lets
you read instructions in a language you understand, on screen

HD flat panel televisions can be wall mounted or placed
on it’s
own stand. Because the features and sizes vary, you can expect
the prices to do the same.
