before they started calling it "Bravia".
I have standard (not HD) cable. The picture is absolutely
gorgeous right of the box! I have not felt any urge at all
to try to tweak the color balance. It does come with three "picture
mode" options
(vivid, standard, pro) which I did change from the default
setting. The Sony switches channels very quickly making channel
hopping convenient, and the remote has a Jump button to quickly
go between two channels."
