This Hitachi 42HDF52 HD ready television set gives
you clear resolution with the help of 1024 x 768 pixels.
Combine that with the 3D-Y/C digital comb filter for picture
sharpness and you have great picture quality. High definition
televisions have the same aspect ratio as movie theaters
at 16:9. You can watch your favorite movies in true high
definition, and even watch sporting events, concerts and
more. High def is so clear and detailed you feel like your
'e there.
One thing I do hate is the glare that you get on TV screens
when the light in the room is on. Hitachi has solved this
problem with the anti-reflective screen feature, that takes
that annoying glare off the screen.
- you can watch the following resolutions, 720p HDTV,
480p, EDTV, 480i
SDTV
- 2 twenty watt speakers
- want to watch 2 movies at the same time, then the split
screen, Picture-in-picture (PIP) features will help you out.
- silver finish
- 1 year limited warranty on parts and labor
"Very happy with this HDTV :) After looking
at the consumer reports I went shopping for the top rated
Panasonic, soon to find out that the Hitachi's have higher
resolution, 1024i x 1024i. The Panasonic set are 720p. From
what I was told, this puts Hitachi and others like Pioneer
in a true HD classification and were not reviewed this year
as in the previous year report where they were at the top
of the list. Value priced, picture in a picture, 60,000 hour
lamp rating made this set the choice for me. The over the
air signals from PBS and 13 other Seattle area digital channels
are incredible and free with a set top Terk TV5 antenna.
I have a surround receiver so the sound quality is not a
factor for me." source - amazon.com
